Openings at this lodge are rare because of a huge repeat clientele! That being said, openings do occur as well as cancellations so don’t let that stop you from asking for dates.

This is a perfect lodge to introduce your spouse or children to duck hunting in a prime area with prime access in the area. If you are looking for a father/child trip over the holidays, this is a perfect fit as well. You will want to book a up to a year ahead to find an opening as this lodge has so many repeat clients. Every year, millions of waterfowl migrate down the famous Mississippi flyway on their journey south. This lodge is located in the very heart of the Mississippi flyway between the Arkansas and White Rivers just 30 miles south of Stuttgart. This family owned and operated lodge offers you the most spectacular, heart-pounding hunting experience available in the lower 48.

Accommodations & Meals
The 10,000 square foot luxury lodge has 14 private bedrooms each with a twin and double bed. Two bedrooms share an attached bathroom.
A home style breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style.
You can relax in the big room with a full bar, big screen TV, darts, pool, ping pong, poker and shuffleboard. Or, if you prefer, just kick back in front of the fireplace. There is a covered fire pit out back as well.
Hunting
The Duck Hunt / The Schedule:
All hunts are fully guided with the goal of providing a safe and enjoyable experience. Most hunts will be in flooded rice fields or flooded timber. The morning hunt begins about thirty minutes before dawn, and the guides hope to show every hunter what they mean by “The Black Tornado.” Hunting groups or parties are not mixed.
They have over 15,000 acres of private farm, timberland and flooded fields. They also have access to the 13,000 flooded acres of the Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area and 157,000 acres of bottomland on the White River National Wildlife Refuge.
They prefer not to duck hunt in the afternoons to allow the ducks to return to the fields to feed and rest. Afternoon options are a drive to the Mack’s Prairie Wings store in Stuttgart, a quail or pheasant hunt with their partner operator, goose hunts when the birds are there or relaxing.
Afternoon duck hunts are an option if you did not limit out on your morning hunt.
Activities
The closest town is Stuttgart, Arkansas which has the famed Mack’s Prairie Wings Hunting store. There are no other activities besides duck-hunting at the lodge.
Length of Stay / Itinerary
The typical hunt schedule is 2-3 nights. You will arrive the evening before your hunt and depart following the morning hunt on departure day.
Travel Details & Location
The lodge is located near Gillett, Arkansas which is about 30 minutes from Stuttgaart. There is a private airstrip nearby.

Family Expeditions, LLC confirmation and refund policy:
If your trip is more than 90 days out from date of departure, a 50% non-refundable deposit confirms your reservation and must be received within 10 days of booking to confirm your dates. All trips must be paid in full at least 90 days prior to the departure date. If your trip date is within 90 days, FULL payment for the trip is required. All payments to Family Expeditions are non-refundable. Should you need to reschedule or cancel your trip, we will do everything in our power to assist you in finding a suitable substitute or transferring your dates per the lodge/providers/government requirements.
