Our First-Hand Experience

The emotions we feel for this lodge, the people and the experience are difficult to convey.  We stayed at both their remote tented wilderness camp and the main lodge on one trip. There is a good reason this lodge sells out years in advance every year!  It’s more than just the excellent fishing, it is the people! We saw so many whales, hiked to the mountain lake and fished on our own, watched eagles feed right in front of the lodge at about 20 yards, saw bears, fished mountain streams and on and on. Oh, we forgot to mention that we pulled up crab pods and ate fresh Dungeness crab every evening.  Josie caught her first King Salmon and it was about as big as she was.  Hummingbirds gathered at the feeders just outside the dining room windows.

We have one family of 6 that are on their 7thsummer here and couples that repeat as often as they can get there.  Occasionally people move their dates to create rare openings.  These are some of the finest people on the planet!
