Every itinerary is tailored to your goals—whether you’re here to chase a single trophy or stack multiple species with a side of adventure. Most hunts run 4–7 nights, and we can easily build in extra days for touring before or after your time in the field.
Here’s what a typical trip looks like:
-
Saturday – Preferred arrival day by the outfitter into Queenstown to recover from the long flights and acclimate to the new time zone. We will assist you with hotel options/touring in Queenstown if you arrive a day or two before your scheduled dates at the lodge.
-
Sunday – Another Arrival day option
Fly into Queenstown, where you’ll be greeted by your host and transferred by road—or helicopter, if you prefer—to the lodge. Settle in, sight your rifle, and prepare for the days ahead. -
Monday to Thursday or Saturday – Hunt Hard, Relax Well
Spend your days hunting and your evenings enjoying everything the property has to offer. If you’re targeting red stag only, expect to hunt through Thursday. For multi-species hunts (stag, tahr, chamois, etc.), plan to stay through Saturday. -
Departure – Return to Queenstown
When the hunt wraps, your host will transfer you back to Queenstown—by vehicle or heli—depending on your preferences and timing. -
Optional Touring – Extend the Journey
Add 2–5 days to explore New Zealand’s best. Whether it’s luxury lodge hopping, backcountry heli-access adventures, or fly fishing off the grid, we’ll build a touring experience that matches your pace and style.
Note: Helicopter transfers and scenic flights are available and highly recommended for both hunting and touring extensions. Let’s make this a trip you’ll talk about for years.
