Victoria Falls to Okavango Delta
One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls is breathtakingly beautiful! To stand opposite the falls and feel the enormous power and the spray that shoots hundreds of feet into the air is a sight to behold. The best part of all is that the falls are not the only experience to enjoy. Numerous unique activities abound in the area.
Your group will be privately guided as we will have you met as soon as you clear customs in the tiny airport of Victoria Falls. Your guide will escort you throughout your stay and ensure that your every need is catered to.
We offer memorable adventures such as with elephant rides, scenic helicopter tours of the falls, fishing for tiger fish on the Zambezi River, guided shopping at the local markets, sunset cruises, lion walks and on and on. The adventure is all around you in Victoria Falls…you could walk out your hotel to find elephants in the driveway! Mosi-Oa-Tunya – the smoke that thunders – over a mile wide as it plunges nearly 400 ft into the Zambezi gorge below.
When David Livingstone saw the Falls for the first time in 1855 he wrote “Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight” and today you can take the “Flight of Angels” a helicopter or light aircraft flight over the Falls which gives you the ultimate view of this magnificent wonder. Continue your travels by light aircraft as you explore the various amazing lodges in the Okavango Delta! Explore the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve and Linyanti all via inter-camp transfers by air or road. Elephants, hippos, various cats and more roam these amazing deltas. We would like to credit some of the photos in the photo area of this destination to Wilderness Safaris who is one of our partners in building custom private itineraries.
