Then on very short notice (2 weeks)Kevin and Corinna helped me set up a “bucket list” trip so I could go with a very good friend who is ill. We made it to Northern Quebec for caribou and bear. It was a wonderful place to be because everyone in my big family had something to do that they were passionate about! Some went fishing, some horseback riding, and my husband and I spent a lot of time in the kitchen. We really loved the cooking lessons and struck up a great relationship with the chef.
Glamping with my grandchildren was the highlight of the trip without parents. A chef cooked dinner for us and we played in the stream, played horse shoes and had a big fire where we roasted marshmallows.
