Everything about the trip was great! The lodge was wonderful, the people couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful and the fishing was unbelievable! I hooked the largest rainbow my guide had seen only to have it break off right at the bank!😢One of the guests that had been coming for 22 years was quite a fisherman. He had phenomenal days every day! Lots of fun to watch. ( not without just a wee bit of envy!! 😂) As you had mentioned, we met two groups who come every year (corporate groups) for over 20 years and one couple who has been there two years and rebooked for next year. I wanted to send a personal note to you thanking you for all your assistance over the last year and a half. Our African adventure was one for the family’s history books, and we loved every second of it – from Cape Town to our photo safari to the hunting safari. We truly felt welcomed as family and made what I consider to be lifelong friends and contacts along the way.

It was a wonderful place to be because everyone in my big family had something to do that they were passionate about! Some went fishing, some horseback riding, and my husband and I spent a lot of time in the kitchen. We really loved the cooking lessons and struck up a great relationship with the chef.
Glamping with my grandchildren was the highlight of the trip without parents. A chef cooked dinner for us and we played in the stream, played horse shoes and had a big fire where we roasted marshmallows.
