This trip reinforced many long held beliefs about the value of hunting and the people all over the world that have chosen hunting as their profession.  In addition to the funding,  jobs and anti-poaching efforts that come with legal, regulated conservation hunting; my quick math says we provided on the order of 22k pounds of meat for the hunting teams, families and villages surrounding the hunting concession.  And, I think I probably low-balled the elephant, rhino and hippo  (the one shot for the festival) yields.  It’s a good feeling to have been a part of that effort.”  Phil, Texas

It was a wonderful place to be because everyone in my big family had something to do that they were passionate about!  Some went fishing, some horseback riding, and my husband and I spent a lot of time in the kitchen.  We really loved the cooking lessons and struck up a great relationship with the chef.

Glamping with my grandchildren was the highlight of the trip without parents.  A chef cooked dinner for us and we played in the stream, played horse shoes and had a big fire where we roasted marshmallows.
