Upon arrival, the wife was quickly put at ease with Marina’s warm hospitality and a lodge where every comfort and need has been anticipated. The hunting began the first afternoon and our friend quickly became immersed in the challenge of a stalk. Their experience and education continued and was punctuated with numerous interesting and insightful conversations with Marina. It was a wonderful place to be because everyone in my big family had something to do that they were passionate about! Some went fishing, some horseback riding, and my husband and I spent a lot of time in the kitchen. We really loved the cooking lessons and struck up a great relationship with the chef.
Glamping with my grandchildren was the highlight of the trip without parents. A chef cooked dinner for us and we played in the stream, played horse shoes and had a big fire where we roasted marshmallows.
